Communication
OPEN AND POSITIVE COMMUNICATION WITH TEACHERS IS ONE OF YOUR MOST VALUABLE TOOLS IN SUPERVISING THE PROGRESS OF YOUR CHILD:
1. If possible, your first line of communications should be with the Supervisor.
2. Please understand that in most situations, it would be helpful to make an appointment instead of just showing up. PLEASE BE SENSITIVE.
3. Please DO NOT communicate to staff THROUGH the student. Speak to the staff in person or write a note.
4. Be OFFENSIVE-minded not DEFENSIVE minded. Everyone has the good of the student and the good of the school in mind and there is a solution to every problem.
3. Be personable and friendly with teachers. Go out of your way to establish and build a relationship, (PROVERBS 18:24).
